7. Fixture Secretary


The Fixture Secretary is responsible for coordinating and organizing the fixtures and match schedules for Pinnstars FC. They play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication regarding matches and competitions. Below is a role description for the Fixture Secretary.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and schedule fixtures for all teams within Pinnstars FC
  • Liaise with league officials, opposition teams, and referees to arrange match details
  • Ensure fixtures are communicated to players, coaches, and officials in a timely manner
  • Manage any fixture changes or rescheduling, keeping all parties informed
  • Maintain accurate records of fixtures, results, and related information
  • Collaborate with the Club Secretary to update the club's website and social media platforms with fixture details
  • Address fixture-related queries and provide support to players and officials
  • Ensure compliance with league regulations and procedures for fixtures and competitions
  • Assist with organizing facilities, such as pitch bookings, for home matches
  • Coordinate with other club officials to ensure matchday logistics are in place (e.g., equipment, first aid, match officials)
  • Provide fixture updates and reports to the committee and club members
