11. Parent Representatives


We need a Parent Representative for each our teams in every age group. Parent Reps would need to act as an intermediary between coaches/ committee members and parents. This would help make communication within the club more fluid and efficient and help reduce the time needed to communicate with our members.

Who will I be responsible to?

  • The Club Committee

Ideally, you’ll need to be:

  • Easy to approach with good listening skills
  • Well organised
  • Confident and good at communicating
  • Enthusiastic and motivating
  • Able to attend a majority of fixtures

What you will do:

  • Act as an intermediary between coaches/ committee members
  • Pass on and ensure communication from the club reaches the parents/ players in your team.
  • Answer questions from parents/players and find out information if you are unsure.
  • Monitor team Whatsapp group.
  • Help volunteer Co ordinator arrange adhoc volunteers if needed.
  • Organise end of season day out for your team.

How much time will it take?

  • This role, in most cases, will take approximately 2 to 3 hours per week
